Working side by side with Sandvik's lead engineers, Unison Interactive was able to develop a specialised technology within the Wear Plate division.

Unison Interactive analysed/designed and built a system to track the wear of the buckets and the G.E.T (Protection strips). The system facilitated the visualisation of the data through the use of graphs and the input of wear measurements through an online website, securely accessible over the internet.

The new monitoring system is currently used by mine companies around the world to monitor the wear of buckets and provides an indispensable tool for the sales and development team at Sandvik. Sandvik have also added an additional budget for further development and enhancements.
